各地で展観
この夏タクラマカン砂漠を訪ねた
砂また砂の果ての地平線、、、
その中を一本の古道が西に延びている
敦煌はシルクロードの起点の地
この道を通り古代より人と物が行き来した
東西の交流のなか花開いた文化
古人の息吹にしばし心を遊ばせた

以降、国内外で展覧会活動を続けている

I grew up in Japan and after studying art in college in the US, became an apprentice in ceramics with Ichino Toshio in Tampa and Shigeyoshi Morioka. Studying with Shige in the mid 70’s for several years had a profound influence on my life and work. Along with technique and aesthetics, Shige shared his passion for clay and from this I was inspired to follow my heart in my life with clay.
